Google Pixel 3 XL was the protagonist of a long trail of leaks, culminating in a real video unboxing and in the full review . So many are wondering when the Mountain View home will decide to officially raise the curtain on the third generation of Pixel smartphones. To give an indication in this regard is Bloomberg that indicates the presumed date and place: the press event would be scheduled for October 9 in New York , location chosen on other occasions of Google to introduce new products.

The report does not contain any more useful details to understand how the initial line-up will actually be structured: the Pixel 3 XL shown recently in photos and videos has no more secrets, but it should also debut the ‘non-XL’ version that has gone much less in the spotlight. To create even more confusion is the hypothesis that it was Google that circulated the first prototypes of Pixel 3 XL to collect feedback and decide whether or not to market it with that configuration (see our previous article ).

Among the next generation Pixels should also include the mid-range model previously identified with the code name “Bonito”, but its presentation could take place in 2019 . Google has not confirmed the date of the press event dedicated to the new Pixels 3, but this is a credible information. The first generation of Pixel smartphones was presented on October 4, 2016 , while the second on October 4, 2017 .
