Honor 8X Max and 8X : Officially announced on September 5th
Compared to the first information about Honor new smartphone Honor 8X Max and the leaks that had emerged, it seems that Honor 8X Max can be based on the Snapdragon 660 platform and not on the initially hypothesized Kirin 710. This is a change that should not affect the performance of the device but it is still important as Honor rarely, especially in the mid-high range, uses non-Kirin chipsets. It is worth mentioning, however, that we are still talking about the Chinese market only and, should Honor 8X Max even arrive in Europe, a change of CPU can not be ruled out.
Honor 8X and 8X Max are the new smartphone of the Chinese company that will be officially announced on September 5th in China . The confirmation comes directly from the official Weibo profile of Honor through which the same company has shared a poster containing the name of the two devices and the date of presentation.
According to what emerged so far thanks to the certification body TENAA , Honor 8X Max (it is difficult to believe that there can be a Honor 8X with a 7.12 “display and an 8X Max with an even bigger panel) should be characterized by the presence a 7.12 “display with FHD + resolution, SoC @ 1.8GHz (there are still several doubts about the CPU that will be adopted) and a 4900 mAh battery . Honor 8X should share the same hardware platform, but the remaining specifications are currently unknown.
