Onimusha: Warlords arrives on PS4, Xbox One, Steam in January
apcom’s 2019 becomes more and more crackling as the months go by: if the return of Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry were not enough, the Japanese company has just made official a remake as unexpected as welcome. Let’s talk about Onimusha: Warlords , the first chapter of the saga set in the Sengoku era originally released on PlayStation 2 in 2001.
Younger readers may not know this extremely popular saga in the early 2000s, initially born as a potential samurai spin-off of the much better known Resident Evil. As has happened in the case of Devil May Cry, the title has moved away strongly from the original concept and has become a new independent IP and is now ready to return to the current generation consoles.
The trailer that we leave you at the end of the article anticipates us that Onimusha: Warlords will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Switch starting next January 15th . ? The game will be distributed only in digital form at a budget price of 19.99 euros , so this is an excellent opportunity to recover this great classic ( and play it on the move for the first time! ).
Among the new features we highlight the support for high definition – although it seems that the original graphic style has been perfectly preserved – support for wide screens, a new soundtrack and the game mode Easy Mode, in addition to full compatibility with analog controllers.
