Instagram testing a new sidebar on Android
Instagram continues to refine its app by operating system, starting to test a new sidebar on the User Profile tab.
The news, currently also available for a good number of users, thus allows to improve the user interface of the Android app, which has become increasingly crowded with icons in the last period. In fact, before this change, in the upper part of the Profile section there were three different icons that allowed quick access to the Stories archive, to add new users and to enter the app settings:

With the new test, however, Instagram has opted for a new pop-up sidebar that integrates within it:
- Saved posts (previously available in the icon bar above the media content)
- Closer friends
- Suggested people
- Settings
As with most of the tests, even in this case the activation of the new user interface should depend on a server-side update managed by Instagram.
Below we leave you to the download of the latest version for Android operating system available on the Play Store and APKMirror.com.
